Recycling Picture of the Week: Paint Cans

This week’s recycling picture comes to us from Judie Miller the coordinator at Metro Recycling Information. Here’s the story to go along with this one:

A couple of months ago I saw this very odd curbside setout one day in my neighborhood in Southwest Portland. For a couple of weeks the occupants of this house seemed to be trying to get rid of a large volume of never used paint cans through curbside collection. At first these three large stacked cages, then in succeeding weeks curbside bins piled high with just paint cans. At one point the rest (still a large amount) disappeared all at once so I’m guessing they might have finally contacted a scrap metal collector.
